URBAN ONE FITNESS TRAINER

Hi, My name is Seamus. I am one of the owners of Urban One Fitness Studios. I've been a trainer for 21 years and a personal training gym owner for 17 .  My goal is to make sure that  Urban One is THE place to achieve your fitness/strength/weight loss goals.

I started 1-1 personal training 21 years ago.  I have trained hundreds of clients over thousands of hours.  Most of my clients are between 30-60 years old, although I have trained from 11yrs to 80+.   I love taking someone from a point where they are afraid to go to the gym to a point where they love the gym and exercise has become an everyday part of their lives.   Some of my clients I have had for more than a decade.   I've often trained the parents first and then the children!  These clients see training as a part of a healthy lifestyle and almost use me as a type of health insurance, as prevention is always better than cure.  I have trained clients with all sorts of medical issues, from minor strains to life threatening illness and helping those people is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.

RONAN MAHONEY PERSONAL TRAINER

Ronan started working as a personal trainer 17 years ago. He spent a year and a half going to Dublin one day every month to receive three personal training sessions a day from Eoin Lacey (the strength coach of Conor McGregor). This helped him expand his knowledge of the program design, nutrition and achieving results.

Ronan has also spent time in London and Bath learning from some of the UK's best coaches. In September 2013, he completed an internship with Tom Crudgington of Body Development in Bath, one of the UK's top trainers in one of the UK's top gyms. Ronan also played hurling and practised martial arts for many years.

Before becoming a personal trainer, Ronan worked as a chef for over ten years in Ireland and the UK's most prestigious hotels and restaurants. Thirteen years ago, he decided to leave the chef trade and focus on his true passion, health and fitness. Ronan's clients now benefit from his cooking knowledge, getting fast and easy healthy recipes to help them achieve their fitness goals.
